Anna Wigley

Founder & Lead Trainer

Anna is a kinship carer to three grandchildren and is also a person-centred counsellor. She has significant experience as a SEND teaching assistant and has completed further training as an Early Years SENCO and a Level 3 Safeguarding practitioner. Anna’s professional background is enriched by her personal journey: she has led peer support for kinship carers and advocated for national policy change, working closely with MPs, ministers, and local authorities. She is passionate about promoting whole-family approaches and supporting schools to understand the complex needs of kinship families, including those of carers’ birth children and children with neurodiversity. She delivers training in London and nearby areas, as well as online nationwide.

Wendy Turner

Senior Trainer - South Coast

Wendy has been a kinship carer for seventeen years, caring for two children with neurodiversity. She has a background person-centred counselling and holds a TA3 qualification. She has delivered training in community education settings and leads several support groups for kinship carers. Collaborating for with schools and professionals, advocating for trauma-informed relational support - her focus is helping schools understand the emotional realities faced by kinship families and foster environments that are safe, inclusive, and validating. She operates throughout East Sussex, the south coast, as well as facilitating sessions online.

Nasheana ‘Nash’ Owusu

Trainer - Essex & Hertfordshire

Nash is a kinship carer, Independent Midwife, trainer and lived-experience advocate. Following the loss of her sister in 2024, Nash and her husband became kinship carers to her three children, an experience that profoundly shaped her understanding of the systems families must navigate when stepping in to care for children. Drawing on both her professional background and lived experience of kinship care, Nash is passionate about raising awareness of the realities kinship families face. She works to ensure carers are better recognised, understood and supported. Nash has spoken publicly about kinship care and the experiences of families who step in to care for children, including appearances on Good Morning Britain and BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour. She brings a thoughtful and authentic perspective to training, helping professionals and organisations better understand kinship care and the vital role families play when children need them most.

Jessica Hammond

Marketing Director

Jessica is passionate and creative marketing professional, committed to delivering audience focused and data-led strategies. Having worked in publishing for many years - including The Big Issue - with a focus on subscription and event marketing, she brings plenty of experience to the team in delivering successful campaigns, developing value propositions, brand management, go-to-market strategies, and product development.

Executive Assistant

Katrina is an experienced and dedicated administrative professional with more than three decades of supporting people, teams, and services across the public and private sectors. For the past nine years, she has worked within the NHS, supporting senior leaders, clinical teams, and a wide range of patient‑focused initiatives. Known for her calm, compassionate approach, Katrina brings exceptional organisational skills, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to helping others - improving services, building strong relationships, and making a positive difference to children, families, patients, and colleagues.
